Programme Note

Ralph Allwood makes a welcome return to the Brandenburg Choral Festival of London with the Old Royal Naval College Trinity Laban Chapel Choir, for the second of this evening's two concerts. Allegri's heart-stoppingly high Miserere will be at the centre of this varied programme of a cappella works, with movements of Victoria's Missa Laetatus and Tavener's O, do not move interspersed with works by Victoria, Byrd, Lobo and Tallis, and pieces by Messiaen, Macmillan, Tavener and Weir providing a stark contrast. Join us for this stunning concert in the beautiful candlelit surroundings of St Martin-in-the-Fields.

This concert lasts approximately one hour without an interval.

A reduced price combined ticket is available for this concert and the earlier concert at St Martin's. Please contact the box office for more details.
