In the first of two candlelit concerts this evening Artistic Director Robert Porter conducts the Brandenburg Festival Chorus and Sinfonia in Fauré’s mesmerising Requiem. In the first half the Sinfonia's string players will delight in two perennial concert favourites by Mozart, the Divertimento no. 1 in D major, and the Serenade for Strings no. 13 in G major, better known as Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.
