Programme Note

We welcome the Fisher Consort and conductor Jonathan Schranz for their Brandenburg Choral Festival debut in a new venue for the Autumn Series, the beautiful church of St Katharine Cree, reputed to have one of the finest acoustics in London. This fabulous chamber choir, founded in 2014 at The Chapel of St John Fisher in Cambridge, will perform Fauré’s gorgeous Requiem with organ accompaniment provided by George Inscoe. In the first half they will treat us to contemporary choral works by some of their associate composers, Nicolas Walker, Stephen Bick and Graham Keitch.
