Programme Note

In the first of the three come-and-sing events for the Brandenburg Choral Festival’s Autumn 2017 Series, Artistic Director Robert Porter will put willing volunteers through their choral paces, with warm-ups and exercises focusing on listening and ensemble skills. Then he will lead this scratch choir through edited highlights of Fauré’s beautiful Requiem with organ accompaniment from Rupert Jeffcoat, culminating in an informal performance at 6pm. This promises to be a delightful and interesting way for any keen choral singer to spend a Sunday afternoon, with the option of returning for the Brandenburg Festival Chorus’s performance of the Fauré on Thursday 14th September.

Registration at 1.45pm and workshops begin at 2pm. Participants £12, audience members £5.
