Programme Note

Excalibur Voices and conductor Duncan Aspden make a welcome return to the Brandenburg Choral Festival of London for this programme exploring Gregorian traditions in choral music. The programme will include Allegri's beautiful Miserere for two choirs, extracts from Monteverdi's Vespers, Duruflé's Four Motets on Gregorian Themes and Vinzenz Goller's unusual and rarely performed Brucknerian Missa choralis.
