Programme Note

Tamesis Chamber Choir bring a Requiem to the Brandenburg Choral Festival, but like you’ve never heard before! The choir have chosen their favourite movements from the most popular Requiems of all time to create their Patchwork Requiem: expect to hear movements by Brahms, Chilcott, Duruflé, Fauré, Mozart, Rutter and Verdi amongst others. Join us for this fascinating view of the Requiem text through different composers’ eyes in the lovely acoustic of St Mary-le-Bow.
