Programme Note

Previous Associate Music Director of the Brandenburg Choral Festival of London, Ralph Allwood, brings his Old Royal Naval College Trinity Laban Chapel Choir to the 2018 Autumn Series. Tonight’s concert features some of the most profound texts ever set to music in works spanning almost a millennium. The programme will include Allegri’s haunting Miserere with its remarkable stratospheric solo, and Purcell’s reflective Hear my prayer, O Lord.

This concert will last approximately one hour and will be performed by candlelight.

A combined ticket offer is available for this concert and the earlier concert at St Martin’s. Please contact the box office for details.
