Programme Note

The spectacular Whitehall Choir return to the Brandenburg Choral Festival of London with two choral masterworks by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ave Verum Corpus and the dramatic Requiem, both conducted by Joanna Tomlinson. The festival’s resident orchestra, Brandenburg Sinfonia will provide orchestral accompaniment as well as two instrumental interludes, which will feature the wind section in the charming Marriage of Figaro Divertimento, and the strings in Serenade No. 13, also known as Eine kleine Nachtmusik. An evening of magical Mozart in the delightful surroundings of a candlelit St Martin-in-the-Field’s.
