Programme Note

The Brandenburg Choral Festival of London welcomes back the sparkling Lucy Cavendish Singers and Katharina Megli to the Spring 2017 Series. This eclectic programme features traditional folk music, close harmony reworkings of twentieth-century favourites and renditions of choral classics by Rheinberger, Barber and MacMillan to name but a few. The Singers will perform en masse, in small groups, as soloists, a cappella and with instrumental accompaniment provided by Nicky Haire and Ivan Garford. Water-tuned glasses will even make an appearance when the choir perform Latvian composer Eriks Ešenvalds ethereal "Stars". This is an evening not to be missed!
