Programme Note

The Brandenburg Choral Festival of London welcomes back Trinity Laban Chamber Choir for this American and jazz-inspired programme of choral music. In the first half, Stephen Jackson conducts two masterpieces of American a cappella choral repertoire from the twentieth century, Copland's In the Beginning and Ives's Psalm 67. These will be heard alongside Julian Anderson's contemporary setting of some Gospel Hymn texts. In the second half the choir will be joined by a jazz quartet for Will Todd's Mass in Blue.

Please note this is a change of venue from our 2017 Spring Series brochure.
