Programme Note

The second of this evening's two concerts in the Brandenburg Choral Festival of London 2017 Spring Series welcomes the Chapel Choir and Chorus of Churchill College Cambridge to sing Vivaldi's joyous Gloria, in the beautiful candlelit surroundings of St Martin-in-the-Fields. In the first half the instrumentalists of the Brandenburg Baroque Soloists will take centre stage with two stunning masterworks by JS Bach, his Concerto for 2 violins and Brandenburg Concerto No. 3.
