Programme Note

Violinist Sophia Prodanova, lutenist Sergio Bucheli and bassist Ismael Campanero are the first members of the New Ensemblists programme created in 2020 by Arcangelo to support and develop outstanding young instrumentalists in the field of period performance. At the conclusion of their two years on the scheme Sophia, Sergio and Ismael present this fascinating self-devised chamber programme, accompanied by Arcangelo’s Artistic Director Jonathan Cohen.
