Programme Note

The Spring Series of the Brandenburg Choral Festival of London 2016 continues with this matinee performance of Mozart’s Requiem given by the Festival Chorus and artistic director Robert Porter.  They will also be joined by the festival’s hand-picked Chamber Choir, the Brandenburg Singers, who will get the concert off to a flying start with a first-half inspired by the Novello compilation album, Sing, Choirs! This varied programme will include Byrd’s Ave Verum Corpus, Bruckner’s Locus Iste, and Gounod’s setting of Ave Maria over Bach’s keyboard Prelude No. 1.

This concert is presented in association with the University of the Third Age.

A combined ticket offer is available for this concert and the later performance at St Clement Danes. Please contact the box office for details.
