Rapidly emerging as an exciting voice on the world’s chamber music scene, hailed for their “powerful individuality of sound” and “instinctive singularity of musical intention”, rising stars the Castalian String Quartet’s won Royal Philharmonic Society Young Artist of 2019. Their Carnegie Hall debut of 2020 was cancelled at 24 hours’ notice due to the pandemic.

The quartet’s bold programme at Manchester’s state-of-the-art Stoller Hall relishes the invention and contrasts of adventurous works that display the young international team’s acclaimed insight, versatility and sensibility to the full.
