Programme Note

Renowned for her “dazzling interpretative flair and exemplary technique,” the unique artistry of Jennifer Pike has taken the musical world by storm since she won the BBC Young Musician competition aged 12. Now in demand as a soloist all over the world, her ability to “hold an audience spellbound” and her “luminous beauty of tone” have established her as one of the most exciting artists performing today. She was awarded an MBE in 2020.

Filmed in the neoclassical intimacy of St George’s Bristol, Jennifer brings a virtuoso performance of sonatas and party pieces by Mozart, Szymanowski, Paganini and Massenet, with her regular collaborator, the acclaimed Russian pianist Petr Limonov.
