Programme Note

The second concert in the Brandenburg Choral Festival of London's Autumn Series features its resident ensembles in this all-Mozart programme. The Brandenburg Singers, a hand-picked group of London's finest amateur vocalists, will perform Mozart's ever-popular Requiem under the baton of Artistic Director Robert Porter, accompanied by the Brandenburg Sinfonia. In the first half the instrumentalists will take centre stage with two beautiful works for smaller ensembles: first the strings perform Mozart's epic Adagio and Fugue in C minor, and then the wind provide some light relief with the Divertimento from the Marriage of Figaro.

Please note a combined ticket offer is available for this concert and the earlier performance at St Martin's. Please contact the box office for details.
