Programme Note

We welcome The Society of Strange and Ancient Instruments to the London Bach Society's Bachfest in a mixed programme of works listed above plus some delicious miniatures by Ariosti, Vivaldi, Chédeville, Dandrieu Couperin and Louis van Waefelghem. Viola d'amore, viola da gamba and other less familar instruments feature in many of Bach's works and will be included in this concert. The Society will present some fresh presentations of popular pieces and obscure musical gems arranged for their exotic collection of musical instruments.
