Programme Note

Our concert series this year will feature performances from our popular trio - virtuoso balalaika player Sergei Kosov (Gnesin Academy of Music, Russia), award winning violinist Yulia Northridge (Petrozavodsk Music Academy, Russia)  and concert pianist Ekaterina Shetliffe (Dargomizsky College of Music, Tula, Russia)  presenting a new programme by Sergei Rachmaninov, Modest Mussorgsky, Dmitry Shostakovich, Peter Tchaikovsky, as well as arrangements of popular Russian folk songs.

There will be a special raffle with the opportunity to win a Russian doll, as well as presentation of Russian Folk artefacts.
