Programme Note

Join Australian soprano, Roberta Diamond, and young Lute specialist, Sergio Bucheli, for an evening of early song, expressing the sensual and sumptuous sounds of Dowland, Marenzio and Caccini. Charting the highs and lows of life, death and love, this programme contrasts the beautiful polyphonic writing of England and Italy’s finest composers in the early song genre. An unmissable Summer’s evening in one of Bristol’s finest Georgian settings.
