Programme Note

This giant of the Renaissance repertoire is performed tonight by an outstanding cast of period instrument performers and the cathedral choirs of Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester. Brecon Baroque is led by Rachel Podger and incorporates the English Cornett and Sackbut Ensemble. Under the baton of this year’s Three Choirs Festival Artistic Director, a fine selection of young soloists completes the line-up.
