Part I ensures a shortened concert yet still contains all the best tunes…And the glory, And he shall purify, O thou that tellest, For unto us and many more as well as the Hallelujah Chorus from Part II to herald in a new season of music-making. Bach’s adorable cantata Wachet auf completes the programme. Soloists, Amy Carson soprano, Marie Elliott alto, tenor tba, Timothy Dickinson bass along with a baroque orchestra will accompany BCG, directed by MD Neil Moore, in what should be a joyous occasion for all!
