We will be singing works by John Tavener and Tchaikovsky, also by contemporary composers Galina Grigorjeva and Valentin Silvestrov, both born in Ukraine. The music includes settings of the writings of James Joyce and Sara Teasdale. The choir will be directed by George Parris, Principal Conductor, and will be joined by cellist, Nicola Tait Baxter.
