Programme Note

Join Wooburn Singers for our popular annual Christmas concert in the beautiful church of St Mary and All Saints in Old Beaconsfield. As ever, we have a mixture of familiar and new carols for the choir plus plenty of well known carols for the audience.

The theme of This Endris Night sees the choir bookending the evening with two arrangements of this early English poem, first by Z Randall Stroope and ending with Sarah Quartel's arrangement which includes hand bells. The verses from the poem will intersperse carols throughout the concert. We are also delighted to be giving a first performance of a new arrangement of In the bleak midwinter by local composer, Aaron King.

Round off the evening with a drink and a mince pie.

Get tickets early, as this concert is always popular.
