In this concert, Cappella Nova explore musical settings of poems by these same poets. Music ranges from Milton’s words in Hubert Parry's Blest Pair of Sirens through Edward Elgar’s setting of Byron’s Deep in My Soul, to John Rutter’s jazz-inspired settings of words by Shakespeare, and some newly commissioned music.
