Beethoven Cycle Concert 9

Add to my Calendar 30-06-2017 19:30 30-06-2017 21:30 36 Beethoven Cycle Concert 9 In the final concert of their cycle of Beethoven Concerto/Symphony Cycle, the London Beethoven Orchestra present an interesting programme. To begin with, we look at what might have been had Beethoven lived longer, playing the completion of the 1st Movement of the Tenth Symphony as reconstructed by Prof. Barry Cooper of the University of Manchester from sketches left by the composer. Following this, pianist Anthony Hewitt returns once again to perform the Choral Fantasy, a work for choir, orchestra and piano soloist. Finally, to conclude the programme, we perform the monumental Ninth Symphony, the "Choral".  St James's Church, London DD/MM/YYYY
