Programme Note

Following the success of his most recent choral works, Julian Marshall presents his newly-completed composition 'Dark Disputes and Artful Teasing' with the first of two exciting premiere performances. The work is based on the poetry of William Blake, and demonstrates a broad stylistic and expressive range. Written for choir and tenor soloist, these settings will be performed by 'Rubythroat', an eight-strong a-cappella chorus, under fast upcoming conductor George Jackson. And the pre-eminent tenor soloist James Gilchrist is a very special guest. This promises to be a memorable evening. Following Blake's commitment to social reform, all profits  will be donated to the charity 'Place 2 Be'. Tickets can be purchased via email at admin@musicalprojects.co.uk or phone on 07967 134730.
