As a result of winning an Arts Council England Exceptional Talent Award in 2012, she came to live in Britain and she now regularly appears on television and at venues and festivals worldwide. Accompanied by percussionist Elizabeth Nott and cellist Barney Morse-Brown, Maya combines her extraordinary musical gifts with warmth, humour and optimism.
