There is more ballet music in the form of Khachaturian’s Gayane. With its famously sharp-edged ‘Sabre Dance’, it is music that attractively reflects Khachaturian’s Armenian roots.Glazunov’s Violin Concerto might not be as well-known as some, but rest assured it’s a gem!
