A game of musical chairs plus a short but inventive symphony all brought together with a jubilant and joyous close. Britten Sinfonia conducted by Thomas Adès perform Beethoven brilliantly, inventive Seventh Symphony and the compelling Eighth alongside Gerald Barry’s breathless Dead March.
