This opening performance of the series will present re-arrangements of Gershwin, Copland and Bernstein culminating in a full performance of the iconic 'Rhapsody In Blue'.   Building on the success of the long-running Ronnie Scott’s All Stars, James Pearson has created a brand-new classical counterpart for Upstairs at Ronnie’s. The Ronnie Scott’s Classical All Stars is a seven-piece ensemble musically directed by James Pearson and made up of some of the UK’s leading session musicians. Together they will reimagine orchestral and symphonic favourites for the intimate setting Upstairs at Ronnie's. The opening of the series will culminate in Bernstein's iconic 'Rhapsody In Blue', just over 100 years since its UK premiere. The seven-piece ensemble will also feature violinist Lizzie Ball, Co-Director of the new Ronnie Scott's Classical series. Ronnie Scott's, London DD/MM/YYYY
