Chiaroscuro Quartet

The musicians perform works of the Classical and early Romantic periods on gut strings and with historical bows, "allowing them to find a sometimes astonishing range of dynamics and colours" (BBC Record Review).  ​The Quartet is joined by star clarinettist Annelien van Wauwe for Mozart's wonderful Quintet. A former BBC New Generation Artist, and Professor of Clarinet at the Royal Conservatory, Antwerp, she is one of the most exciting and original clarinettists of her generation.
