Vida Guitar Quartet

Add to my Calendar 27-04-2019 19:30 27-04-2019 21:30 36 Vida Guitar Quartet Founded in 2007, the VIDA Guitar Quartet brings together four of the UK’s most exceptional guitarists, all well known as soloists and teachers. The Quartet are no strangers to Weston, using our church with its excellent acoustics as a recording studio – including their latest CD ‘Bachianas’.  However the Eden Stell Duo last performed for us in 2016, and the Vida Quartet not since 2010, so this is a very welcome return. The Vida tour regularly in the UK and throughout the USA.  This January they have visited Florida, South Carolina, Colorado and Arizona Their programme includes Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No 3 and de Falla’s ‘Love the Magician’ as well as music by Vaughan Williams, Mendelssohn, Houghton, Villa-Lobos and Gershwin Holy Trinity Church, Hitchin DD/MM/YYYY

Programme Note
