Performing the very best contemporary choral music, and reviving neglected choral gems, Commotio will perform their favourite seasonal repertoire. From Britten's 'Christ's Nativity' (a rarely performed suite pre-dating the better known 'A Boy is Born') to Mantyjarvi's ' Christmas Eve 1913' and McDowall's 'Cradle Song' (both written in 2017) this is a concert packed with superb music to see out 2019.
