The ensemble takes its name from the German-born, neoclassical artist and founding member of the Royal Academy, Johann Zoffany, whose paintings, as well as portraying eminent actors such as David Garrick, often depicted the nobility in their pursuit of musical entertainment. Pre-Concert Recital by Royal College of Music Musicians, 5:30pm This FREE Pre-Concert Recital will feature students from the Royal College of Music, and take place before the evening's Sunday Concert. This is a fantastic opportunity to witness the future generation of music stars, as they perform live on the Conway Hall stage.
