Callum and Richard‘s programme showcases Viennese and German composers who arguably sidelined in their lifetimes. From Schubert’s struggles to be published, to Korngold pidgeon-holed as a film composer despite his prodigious gifts as a serious classical composer, this programme celebrates composers that share a wonderful love of poetry, song and sheer lyricism.
