Central to the programme is John Taveners Mother and Child. This meditative work for choir, organ and temple gong celebrates the miracle of childbirth and also Marys universality as Mother of all. The music of Josquin des Prez, the central figure of the Franco-Flemish school of polyphony, is another main feature of this programme.
