Add to my Calendar 11-03-2023 19:30 11-03-2023 21:30 36 150th Rachmaninoff Anniversary Concert Our Russian weekend spectacular celebrating the 150th Anniversary of Rachmaninoff's birth starts with his popular 2nd Piano Concerto with flamboyant soloist Giulia Contaldo and Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra.   The dramatic and colourful Symphony No 4 by Tchaikovsky completes the concert with a flourish.  The second concert on Sunday 12th March at 3pm includes Rachmaninoff's Paganini Variations, with Giulia Contaldo again, and excerpts from Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet ballet suites.
