Programme Note

The Volt Ensemble is a group of promising Scandinavian artists with postgraduate degrees from outstanding universities (Julliard School of Music, New York, Manhattan School of Music, New York, Royal College of Music, London).

The Ensemble was established in 2015 following an invitation by the Bergen Chamber Music Society for the performance of Christian Sinding's Piano Quintet Op.5 for their 80th anniversary. Performances include a week at the Grieg in Bergen International Series both in 2015 and 2016. 

For their upcoming concert tour they will perform in Bergen, Øystese, London and Lofoten under the name MiM5 - Music in Movement 5
